Summary The

Material & Services Coordinator Senior

provides essential training and technical support to team members while managing material logistics for construction and maintenance projects. Your work helps us deliver safe, reliable, and efficient service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Train and Support : Provide guidance and technical assistance to Material Coordinators and other personnel on the use of MLIS, MAXIMO, EMAN and APS accounting systems and principals.

Plan and Prioritize : Research material and equipment availability, set priorities, and coordinate delivery schedules to meet project timelines.

Manage Inventory : Order, forecast, and schedule materials and services for construction and maintenance projects, ensuring timely availability.

Resolve Issues : Identify shortages, special requirements, and discrepancies, and take action to prevent delays.

Track and Report : Prepare documentation to monitor costs, reconcile inventory, and support special projects related to warehouse and inventory management.

Technical Knowledge : Experience with material management systems and accounting principles.

Organized and Detail-Oriented : Skilled at prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

High school diploma or GED.

Advanced knowledge and expertise in Materials / Services Coordination activities and computer systems gained through related coursework and on the job experience. Math skills that include the ability to apply basic algebraic formulas.

Good working knowledge of contract procedures and construction and maintenance practices/standards/specifications. Advanced knowledge and expertise utilizing APS accounting and inventory computer systems, principles and procedures. Advanced expertise in the utilization of EMAN, MLIS, MAXIMO and MS Office products such as Access Query tools.

Must be able to interface and communicate effectively with people.

Requires specialized knowledge of the materials and equipment utilized in the assigned functional area.

Onsite Requirements Requires work to be performed in the field and/or at an APS facility. Depending on the responsibilities of the role, this may include, but is not limited to, working at a power plant, job site, or in the community.

Employees are expected to reside in Arizona (or New Mexico for Four Corners-based employees).
