Teen & Family Program Lead

Compensation:
$11.00–$14.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Hours:
18–20 hours per week, nights and weekends required; schedule may vary.
General Functions:
Supervise, plan, and organize Teen & Family programs for all age groups.
Assist in designing programs that incorporate physical activities, mentoring, and character values.
Provide community service opportunities for youth.
Requirements:
High school diploma required.
Interest and experience working with youth and teens.
Ability to communicate effectively with various age groups.
General knowledge of appropriate age‑appropriate activities.
General clerical, organizational, and computer skills.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate Teen & Family focused programs (e.g., Teen Night Outs, Parents Day Out).
Coordinate scheduling and execution of rentals.
Recruit new program participants.
Work with directors to develop and implement robust after‑school programs for teens.
Secure CPR and first aid certification.
Support collaborations and recruitment of community partners.
Collaborations:
Co‑lead Teen Leaders program.
Integrate YMCA core values and character development.
Other duties as mutually agreed with the immediate supervisor for the overall good of the YMCA.
