Creates, manages, and understands impacts to project scope, constraints and schedule. Manages projects according to work plan. Performs critical path analysis.
Understands and can effectively/quantifiably communicate progress against tasks, milestones, and blockers of each project in the portfolio.
Coordinates across multiple projects that are aligned with the strategic direction of the department.
Identifies and manages project and program interdependencies.
Creates performance and status reports for relevant stakeholders.
Develops and manages project risk and issue management plans. Analyzes risks by probability and severity to assess their impact on project delivery. Implements procedures to mitigate risk threats.
Utilizes available tools for identifying and tracking issues such as the Delivery Risk Assessment, risk workshops, and clarity.
Uses client project management tools and methodologies to deliver.
Develops project organization chart and governance structures. Defines roles and responsibilities of team members.
Defines processes and standards around governance, communication, and quality. Develops deliverable acceptance plans and criteria.
Identifies and develops strategy for changes in scope, schedule, and cost. Develops strategic rationale for change including costs, benefits, tradeoffs, etc.
Creates transition plan, identifies lessons learned, and applies the lessons learned to future projects.
Establish program objectives; develop requirements, plan schedules and estimate cost.
Balance stakeholder needs and effectively negotiate tradeoffs between scope, schedule, and budget.
Balance needs of multiple stakeholders and gains buy-in from groups who may be resistant to change
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technology or related field is required
8+ years of experience as a technical project manager, utilizing project management methodologies and disciplines, best practices, and artifacts in both Waterfall and Agile environments
Technical understanding and experience supporting projects for Data Protection Systems including any combination of the following:
Governance and Oversight
Data Scanning and Classification
Data Protection (tokenization, masking, truncating, hashing, key and certificate management, open file share)
Cloud access security broker
Database activity monitoring
Channels for the above include
Endpoint reconciliation
APIs
SaaS
Server (firewall audit)
Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, SharePoint, and Clarity
Proficiency and experience using Agile project management tools (e.g. Rally, Jira, MS ADS etc.)
Proficiency and recent experience with regulatory and/or compliance projects
Ability to travel occasionally according to client demands
3+ years of experience within the Banking or FSI industry
Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
SharePoint Development and Migration: Leverage hands‑on experience in SharePoint development and migration projects, designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions to meet business needs
Power Apps Development: Utilize Power Apps to create custom applications and workflows, enhancing business processes and improving user experience
VBA Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain VBA scripts to automate repetitive tasks, streamline processes, and improve efficiency across various business applications
Reporting and Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, or SharePoint, providing valuable insights and facilitating data‑driven decision‑making
Process Improvement and Optimization: Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, leveraging SharePoint, Power Apps, and VBA scripting to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
