Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement materials planning and inventory control strategies.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
Oversee inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize carrying costs while supporting production.
Lead and mentor the materials management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Implement and optimize ERP/MRP systems for accurate material tracking and forecasting.
Identify and drive cost reduction initiatives in materials procurement and logistics.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements for all materials.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement leadership within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory control, production planning, and purchasing.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proven track record of optimizing inventory levels and supply chain processes.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills to manage teams and foster supplier relationships.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain analytics.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
International supply chain experience, particularly with global sourcing and logistics.
