The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for managing the Front Office operations to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service and compliance with corporate/franchiser policies and procedures while exceeding financial goals. This position is responsible for the short-term planning and day-to-day operations of the Front Office Department.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily front desk operations to ensure excellent guest service and compliance with hotel standards
Train, schedule, and support front desk staff; monitor performance and assist with onboarding
Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Review room inventory, guest accounts, and reports for accuracy
Maintain lobby, front desk, and public areas for cleanliness and presentation
Manage supplies, key control, and ensure secure cash-handling procedures
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Communicate effectively with the General Manager and assist with projects as assigned
Requirements
Be able to manage time effectively, complete required tasks on time
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by guests
Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required
Stable work history required
