Field Clinical Counselor - ABSN - Grand Canyon University - Remote Join Grand Canyon Education, Inc. as a Field Clinical Counselor in the College of Nursing and Health Care Professions. This remote position supports students during the practicum and clinical phases of their program. Salary: $43,000 per year. Candidates must reside in the Greater Phoenix area. New hire training will encompass two full weeks of training, with the first week held in‑person at our Phoenix, AZ campus and the second week conducted virtually via Zoom.

What You Will Do

Collect and track immunization and health and safety documentation required for clinical and practicum rotations.

Ensure students meet all required deadlines and notify appropriate parties of non‑compliance.

Communicate to students, preceptors, and sites before documentation expires or a file becomes out of date.

Prepare and distribute necessary information to students regarding the program(s).

Assist with placement of students to include practicum, clinical, or practice immersion.

Handle high volume of outbound and inbound student calls while meeting GCU customer service standards.

Establish rapport and relationships with students.

Encourage students to ensure they are on track with meeting clinical and practicum requirements.

Assist with the processing of paperwork for sites and preceptors if needed.

Work as part of a high‑performance team and encourage and support other team members.

Handle multiple priorities and tasks in an effective and efficient manner.

What You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four‑year college or university.

Six months’ related work experience such as a high‑volume inbound/outbound call center and preferably in higher education.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, healthcare clients, students, and the general public.

Ability to handle a high‑volume of inbound/outbound calls effectively.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
