Family Pet Clinic is hiring a full‑time Veterinary Technician at Southampton, Feasterville, and Horsham locations to provide skilled care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. Our ideal candidate has experience in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures, with a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners.

Salary $20–$25 per hour, determined by the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. Top‑tier sign‑on bonus.

Schedule Full‑time, Monday‑through‑Friday, rotating Saturdays, and two evening shifts per week. Hospital closes 1:00–2:00 p.m. for lunch.

Monday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m., 8:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m., or 7:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. (surgery shift).

Friday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication: Provide status updates and instructions, address questions, and direct complex inquiries to veterinarians.

Client Education & Support: Educate clients on preventive medicine and support hospital financial policies.

Customer Service: Greet clients, escort pets, and promote practice products and services.

Animal Handling & Care: Restrain animals, assist in medical, surgical, and dental procedures, administer anesthesia, monitor patients during surgery and recovery, and administer fluids.

Facility & Equipment Maintenance: Care for surgical materials and maintain equipment and inventory.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records in a paperless system.

Pharmacy Assistance: Prepare prescription labels and package medication.

Safety & Technical Skills: Follow DEA, OSHA, and safety guidelines; administer SQ, IM, IV injections; perform labs, radiographs, ECGs; place IV catheters and perform emergency treatments.

Qualifications

At least two years of Veterinary Technician experience.

Required surgical experience.

Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.

Knowledgeable about common disease states.

Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
