Schedule: 40 hours/week; 8-hour day/evening shifts Day shift starts between 5:00am-7:00am; Evening starts between 1:00pm-3:00pm Every 3rd weekend rotation on day shift Requires floating to cover at Bismarck and Mandan clinics Generalist and clinic coverage on weekdays Microbiology on weekend rotation Phlebotomy Job Summary
Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing. Follows standard operating procedures and ensures laboratory safety, quality and regulatory requirements are met. Serves as a laboratory resource to other health care personnel and collaborates with other departments across the enterprise. Demonstrates critical and independent judgment in decision-making and problem-solving. Demonstrates flexibility and reliability as a designated float Medical Laboratory Technician as rotations are needed. Provides coverage in designated facility for pre-determined scheduled time as applicable. Provides support according to assigned schedule and service plan content delegated by laboratory staff and leadership at assigned location. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Associates degree in Laboratory Science required. Possess a national certification for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) through an approved Health and Human Services (HHS) agency (e.g., ASCP); or be registry eligible. Registry eligible candidates must complete the Board of Registry examination within 12 months of employment. If working in North Dakota (ND), must be licensed or have a provisional license by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice. Maintain continuing education credits as required for license and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required. Valid driver’s license required. Benefits
