Job Description
Manages accreditation criteria and ensures continuous compliance with Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) standards.
Develops, updates, and maintains relevant accreditation patient care pathways and protocols.
Coordinates and provides education for physicians, staff, patients, and the community on metabolic and bariatric patient safety, complications, and care.
Supports the development of protocols and education for nursing staff to ensure rapid communication and response to critical patient findings.
Monitors outcomes data, provides feedback to surgeons, and assists with identifying and preparing yearly quality improvement initiatives.
Qualification Requirements Associate's of Nursing (Required), Bachelor's of Nursing, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS), RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Bariatric Nurse (CBN), Metabolic and Bariatric Surgical Clinical Reviewer (MBSCR), Registered Nurse (RN).
Pay Range $65,392.09 - $114,226.98
