Exercise Physiologist – Cardiac Rehab
Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking multiple Exercise Physiologists for our Cardiac Rehabilitation Department in Anchorage, Alaska.
Responsibilities:
Provides direct patient care, assists with coordination of patient education and activity planning.
Responsible for patient assessment, intervention, evaluation, education and supervision of ECG (telemetry and non‑telemetry), and exercise therapy.
Currently Available Schedules
Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week
Part Time, 0.5 FTE, Day shift
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
1 year of experience with emphasis on knowledge of cardiac medication, exercise physiology, nutrition, counseling techniques and patient education.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Exercise Science or related field.
Upon hire: Certification by the American College of Sports Medicine.

Employment Information Pay Range: $26.79 – $40.99 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
