Who we are: Animal Emergency Hospital of Gainesville http://animalergainesville.com provides urgent and critical care to pets in the Gainesville, GA community when they need it most. Our dedicated emergency team delivers high-quality medicine in a fast-paced, collaborative environment supported by advanced diagnostics, in-house lab capabilities, digital radiography, ultrasound, and a well-trained technical staff. We value clear communication, teamwork, and continuous learning to ensure exceptional outcomes for patients and clients alike.
We’re supported by a strong team of 13 highly skilled technicians, ensuring an excellent tech-to-doctor ratio and a culture that empowers everyone to perform at their best.
We are equipped with Butterfly and traditional ultrasound, Idexx in-house point-of-care blood analyzers, and maintain an on-site blood bank and plasma supply. We also carry antivenom in-house due to the frequency of snake bite cases and utilize monoclonal antibodies for the treatment of parvo.
Compensation:
Competitive Base Salary: $130,000 to $180,000 (commensurate with experience) plus 25% Production

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) required

Ability to lift 40+ lbs
Responsibilities: As an Emergency Veterinarian at Animal Emergency Hospital of Gainesville, you’ll triage, stabilize, and treat a wide range of emergency and critical care cases. You’ll collaborate with an experienced medical and nursing team, perform procedures and surgeries as appropriate, and interpret diagnostics — from ultrasound to radiographs — to deliver timely, accurate care. You’ll have the freedom to practice medicine autonomously, while benefiting from the support and structure of AmeriVet’s nationwide network.
