Job Description POSITION TITLE:
Paramedic – Full‑time, Part‑time or PRN

Operations Manager, Transports Team Lead

$21.00 – $30.00 per hour – increases with experience and credentials

Essential duties and responsibilities
This is an IFT and event standby environment, requiring a high degree of critical thinking, professional development, and exceptional clinical decision making.
Maintaining and encouraging EMS Unlimited values in yourself and your coworkers.
Responding to emergency and non‑emergency requests calmly, efficiently and promptly.
With compassion and professionalism, administering basic clinical care in accordance with company doctrines, federal, state, and local laws, regulations and standards.
Conducting medical equipment inventory.
Cleaning, organizing and restocking supplies in a ready condition after each use.
Working cooperatively with assisting agencies. Be nice, professional, courteous and an all‑around happy and pleasant person.

Additional Responsibilities – Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency and non‑emergency calls.
Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate basic life support and medical care.
Transport patients safely to healthcare facilities, ensuring their comfort and stability.
Accurately document patient information, treatments, and incident details.
Maintain and restock ambulance equipment and supplies.
Collaborate effectively with other emergency responders, healthcare professionals, and team members.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the ambulance.
Assist in community outreach and education programs related to emergency preparedness.
Qualifications
Valid Nebraska Paramedic License
Current CPR certification
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be at least 21 years of age
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high‑stress situations
Physical fitness to perform essential job functions, including lifting and moving patients
Basic computer skills for electronic patient care reporting
Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Empathy and compassion for patients and their families
Ability to maintain composure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
