An experienced PT, enthusiastic about providing functional rehabilitation in real life settings such as cooking in clients’ kitchens, navigating grocery stores, restaurants, outdoor activities, and workplaces.

Ready to treat clients beyond a staged environment, enabling them to practice skills in real life experiences.

Responsibilities

Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.

Regularly re‑assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and participate in family conferences.

Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources.

Communicate patients’ needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, clients, and family members.

Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state where practicing.

Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulations.

Minimum of one year’s work experience as a physical therapist preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Effective and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transfer patients, which may involve lifting up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.

Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk or stand for extended periods.

Physical requirements include pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and frequent positioning.

Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on specific location policy, local or state regulations.

Salary Range USD $53.00 - $58.00 per hour
