About the role The Costing Feasibility Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring that all aspects of the project are managed effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of design software and production processes, along with experience in creative production. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional project management skills, strong knowledge of design software, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality creative products on time and within budget.
What you'll do
Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data to estimate the costs associated with projects, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses.
Blueprint Review: Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare detailed time and cost estimates.
Client Consultation: Occasionally meet with clients to discuss project details and requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of expectations.
Collaboration: Work closely with all departments, engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to formulate accurate estimates and resolve any issues.
Report Preparation: Prepare and present detailed cost reports and proposals to clients, outlining the breakdown of costs.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
Software Utilization: Use specialized software for data analysis, cost estimation, and project management.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have three (3) years' proven experience in the areas of costing and feasibility.
Strong mathematical skills and the ability to analyze complex data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Must have experience in trade booths, events and custom builds.
Core CAD software proficiency Must have strong skills in one or more:
AutoCAD
SolidWorks
Fusion 360
Vectorworks
Must have knowledge of design principles
Reading & creating technical drawings
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Drafting standards (ANSI, ISO)
