Position Welder II LAV
Location Bloomfield Plant – Bloomfield, NM
Hours of Work Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 7:00‑3:30 pm (Single shift operation w/ potential for added shift operations)
Responsibilities
Able to back‑go over using carbon‑air‑arc or plasma for full penetration welds
Clean and polish welds to company design specifications
Pass non‑destructive testing of pressure‑retaining welds on both pipe and vessels
Work from drawings/sketches to determine weld size, location, and process
Inspect own work to ensure compliance with drawings and weld procedures and make necessary repairs
Assist with incoming parts inspection and final product inspection, completing appropriate documentation
Operate forklift trucks, jib cranes, and overhead crane
Assist in other areas of the plant as assigned
Comply with company policy
Handle material movement
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required (concentration in welding preferred)
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school preferred
2‑3 years of welding experience required
ASME code welding experience preferred
