Manage and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance for manufacturing operations. Oversee cybersecurity strategies and implement measures to protect both IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems. Support and optimize manufacturing-specific software applications, including MES, SCADA, and ERP production modules. Lead IT projects for system upgrades, new technology implementations, and infrastructure improvements across the plant. Develop and manage the IT budget, vendor relationships, and procurement of hardware and software. Ensure data integrity, availability, and security for production reporting, quality control, and analytics. Provide technical support and training to manufacturing staff on IT systems, applications, and best practices. Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans tailored for a manufacturing environment. Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, networks, and support within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Deep expertise in manufacturing IT systems, including ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, or SCADA. Demonstrated success in leading IT projects, from planning to implementation, that enhance operational efficiency. Strong understanding of IT/OT convergence and cybersecurity best practices for industrial environments. Ability to strategically align IT initiatives with manufacturing business objectives and drive digital transformation. Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, or PLC integration. Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, AI/ML, automation) in a production environment.
