Career TEAM is looking to hire an Adult and Dislocated Career Advisor/ Workforce Case Manager who will provide career counseling, intensive case management, and follow‑up services. The role is 100% on site under the supervision of the Project Director.

About the Role The Advisor/Case Manager will play an integral role in accelerating the human condition by delivering case management, workforce development, and community partnership services to job seekers.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $49,000 – $52,000 per year

Paid travel up to 25% of the time

Full‑time, non‑exempt position

Key Responsibilities

Provide case management services to the community.

Conduct intake and eligibility determination for the workforce program.

Assess job seekers’ employment and training needs through interviews, testing, and other methods.

Act as liaison between workforce development programs and community partners.

Enter and manage client data in the one‑stop system or other required databases.

Guide job seekers in preparing Individual Employment Plans (IEP) based on occupational goals.

Counsel clients about available job opportunities, training programs, and other services.

Refer individuals to programs and follow up on those activities.

Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, job clubs, and other group presentations.

Ensure compliance with eligibility documentation policies and maintain accurate case files.

Develop and track IEPs, meet program benchmarks, and participate in staff events and trainings.

Complete all required reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience (5+ years in operations).

Strong communication skills and knowledge of community resources.

Multilingual and bilingual preferred.

Analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.

Computer literate with MS Word and Excel; ability to learn specialized databases and software.

Experience working with culturally diverse customers and cultural sensitivity.

Ability to serve as a role model and motivate clients toward goal achievement.

Strong interpersonal, time‑management, organizational, and customer‑service skills.

Knowledgeable about the WIOA program and workforce requirements.

Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with confidentiality.

Exceptional time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Valid Driver’s License.
