Marshall Medical Center South is a 150‑bed hospital in Boaz, Alabama, and opened in 1956. Marshall Medical Center North in Guntersville opened in 1990 and is a 90‑bed facility. In addition to the two hospitals, the Gary R. Gore Medical Complex is conveniently located mid‑county and houses several outpatient clinics and a 22,000‑square‑foot comprehensive Cancer Care Center. Responsibilities and Qualifications
Performs clinical imaging procedures, including echocardiography, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
Maintains uniform operation of the department by performing a broad range of duties.
Receives and processes necessary patient information.
Uses independent judgment and initiative to perform imaging exams according to policy while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and protection.
Assists the radiologist and attending physician.
Communicates effectively, works efficiently and productively, and maintains a clean and safe environment by properly using and caring for equipment.
Demonstrates a caring attitude toward patients, visitors, and employees.
Stays current with changes in the profession through continuing education programs.
Holds ARRT licensure or ADRMS registration.
Expected to take call in any area after completion of competency requirements.
CPR certification.
