A well-established, nationally active commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead large‑scale ground‑up construction projects. This role is ideal for a Superintendent who thrives on complex, fast‑paced industrial builds and is comfortable managing multi‑acre sites across multiple regions. Project Profile
Ground‑up projects $20M+ (larger preferred) Warehouse / Distribution Centers Cold Storage Facilities Manufacturing & Food Manufacturing Plants Extensive use of tilt‑wall and precast construction Large, multi‑acre sites with aggressive schedules Travel Requirements
Full‑time travel role Projects primarily in Central and Eastern Time Zones Home every 4 weeks (travel expenses covered) Key Responsibilities
Lead field operations from mobilization through closeout Manage site safety, schedule, quality control, and subcontractors Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, and inspectors Oversee tilt‑wall and precast installation Drive schedule adherence on large, complex sites Maintain high standards for workmanship and compliance Qualifications
Proven experience as a Superintendent on $20M+ ground‑up commercial/industrial projects Strong background in warehouse, cold storage, or manufacturing construction Hands‑on experience with tilt‑wall and precast systems Ability to manage large crews and multiple subcontractors Willingness and ability to travel extensively Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Compensation & Benefits
Base salary up to ~$130K (depending on experience) Per diem / travel accommodations Strong backlog of work with long‑term stability Opportunity to work on high‑profile, large‑scale industrial projects Additional Information
