Lead Practice Nurse – Behavioral Health Clinic (Part‑Time Days)
Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking an experienced RN to lead our Behavioral Health Clinic, providing both clinical leadership and hands‑on patient care during a day shift schedule.
Job Summary In this dual role, the Lead Practice Nurse will coordinate clinic staff, manage resources, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver triage and direct nursing services to patients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead clinical and operational aspects of the Behavioral Health Clinic.
Coordinate all back‑office staff and act as liaison among support staff, physicians, and clinic managers/administrators.
Conduct routine staff meetings, scheduling, competency assessments, and staff education sessions.
Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, CLIA, state radiological safety standards, and other regulatory mandates.
Assist in preparing yearly operational budgets and evaluating capital equipment needs.
Provide patient care, including triage, during your shift as a working RN.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a physician office setting.
Management experience is a plus.
Associate or bachelor’s degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
RN license in Idaho required; proof of Oregon licensure obtainable within 6 months of hire.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA, ARC or Military Training Network) required at hire.
