Position: Full‑time; Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday‑Friday. Pay range: $28.02‑$38.06 per hour, based on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure daily customer happiness.
Work shift schedules as directed to keep our vehicles and equipment available for customers and communities.
Educate Life EMS associates on vehicle maintenance and systems.
Provide updates to the Director of Fleet Readiness and Director of Operations on vehicle and equipment status.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area.
Manage parts inventory.
Document and report all maintenance activities using Life EMS systems.
Assist the Health & Safety Coordinator in evaluating driving safety principles.
Contribute to improvement of maintenance programs through suggestions and participation in seminars.
Maintain continuous education and training for certifications and skills.
Communicate maintenance activities to senior leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Fleet Readiness.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
Minimum 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED.
Own hand tools required for assigned tasks.
ASE Automotive Service Excellence certification in all eight categories.
Michigan Department of State automobile certification.
Pass all Life EMS pre‑employment requirements.
Valid driver’s license with a record meeting Life EMS standards.
Interviewed by Life EMS designee.
Must comply with Life EMS facial hair policy (clean‑shaven or neatly trimmed mustache).
Physical Demands
Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle tools, reach with arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Drive using wrist motions to manipulate the steering wheel.
Lift and carry automotive parts up to 100 lbs.
Bend, crawl, crouch under and inside vehicles.
Extend and hyper‑extend neck.
Stretch, extend and bend arms and legs.
Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
