Superintendent – Commercial General Contractor
Base Pay Range:
$100,000 – $140,000 per year

Job Details Lead and oversee large‑scale commercial construction projects exceeding $20M. The role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of the commercial construction industry, and a passion for delivering high‑quality results.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all stages of the project life cycle including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
Lead project teams; coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
Direct and supervise workers, subcontractors, and work activities.
Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
Implement effective communication plans and ensure execution throughout the project lifecycle.
Resolve work problems, disputes, or conflicts to ensure smooth project operation.
Ensure compliance with all building and safety codes and regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience in a superintendent role focused on commercial construction.
Experience managing projects exceeding $10M in size.
Broad understanding of the construction industry, including materials, methods, and tools.
Strong leadership and management skills; ability to lead teams and coordinate stakeholders.
Excellent problem‑solving skills with ability to resolve issues efficiently.
Proficiency in project management software and related computer applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
