Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Lathe Machinist, located in Morgan Hill, CA. The Lathe Machinist will operate and maintain CNC lathes, monitor machine performance, and adhere to safety protocols. Responsibilities include reading technical drawings, setting up and programming machines, inspecting finished products for quality, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. The role requires attention to detail and collaboration with other team members to meet production goals and ensure quality standards.
Qualifications
Proficiency in operating and programming CNC MASTERCAM
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and specifications
Competence in inspection processes and quality control standards
Basic understanding of machining industry safety protocols
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
Experience with industry-relevant materials and machine maintenance
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Previous machining experience, preferably within a certified manufacturing environment
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is a plus
