$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr Requirements of the Accounting
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Minimum, 2 years of progressive accounting experience CPA designation is a plus Experience with GAAP, financial reporting and accounts receivable Experience within manufacturing, engineering or constructions industries is a plus Proficiency with accounting systems like Quickbooks, NetSuite, SAP or a comparable ERP software Detail and Task-oriented, with a strong sense of organization and self-motivation. Oversee all aspects of the Accounts Receivable function, including billing, collections, application of payments, and reconciliation of customer accounts. Prepare and issue accurate and timely customer invoices in accordance with contractual terms and company policies. Monitor outstanding receivables, perform regular account reviews, and coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve discrepancies. Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and reporting deadlines. Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Maintain and organize financial documentation to support audits, compliance requirements, and management inquiries. Provide management with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Sales, to ensure accuracy and efficiency of billing and reporting processes.
