Overview
External Reporting Manager role at Honeywell. As an External Reporting Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing the controllership function within the Aerospace Technologies business unit, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards while driving operational excellence. You will play a critical role in financial reporting, internal controls, and strategic financial planning. You will report directly to a Sr Director, and you will work out of our Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the organization by enhancing financial integrity, optimizing financial processes, and providing strategic insights that drive business decisions. Your leadership will empower the finance team to achieve their goals and contribute to the overall success of Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the organization's financial objectives.
Responsibilities
Oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
Manage internal controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE
Certified Public Accountant.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance & controllership roles, or experience as an auditor of public companies.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal controls.
Proficiency in financial reporting tools and ERP systems such as SAP.
Experience in managing financial audits and compliance processes.

Experience in the aerospace or defense & space sectors, or similar industrial sectors.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Experience with advanced financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
