Managing Escrow Officer

Responsibilities
Manage the division ensuring escrow and related services through staff to maximize productivity and profitability.
Gather and review business information, such as reporting, market forecasting, and personal data reports.
Consult frequently with senior leadership to obtain real estate and related business information.
Work with vendors providing services to the FA, monitor compliance, cost effectiveness, quality, and timeliness; improve processes and quality of output.
Track and monitor division expenses; may include office management–type duties.
Ensure staff provides title services to customers and acts as a liaison between mortgage and builder to meet compliance, policy adherence, production goals, and timelines.
Assign resources to meet schedules and goals; manage or supervise escrow personnel to ensure compliance with company policies and timely procedures.
Conduct regular quality reviews and spot checks of escrow files to ensure adherence to customer requests and company policies.
Assist customers by resolving complaints, expediting orders, and explaining procedures.
Lead, recruit, retain, and develop talent; hold employees accountable for results; manage conflict and foster collaboration.
Drive and model customer loyalty; manage expectations, solicit feedback, and ensure commitments are met.
Collaboratively engage with leaders to implement solutions that improve business effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2–4 years of demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management role.
Demonstrated success establishing, leading, and maintaining effective working relationships at the division level.
Notary Public, active title license strongly preferred.
Extensive experience in the title and escrow industry including residential, commercial, subdivision, and exchanges.
Excellent supervisory, professional communication, and computer skills.
Strong process, problem‑solving, and customer service skills; detail oriented.
Ability to lead, influence, and communicate the department’s vision.
Track record designing, developing, and executing complex projects.
