We are hiring a
Financial Operations Analyst
to join the
Trade Management
team within a leading banking and asset management organization. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals seeking hands‑on exposure to the
trade lifecycle, operational risk, and transaction processing
that support global financial markets.
About the Team:
Operations is a critical, cross‑functional division that partners with trading, sales, asset management, and technology teams to ensure trades are processed accurately and efficiently. The Trade Management team plays a key role in mitigating risk across trade execution, settlement, and collateral management while supporting new products, strategies, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of the end‑to‑end trade lifecycle
Partner daily with traders, brokers, technology teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve trade issues and ensure timely settlement
Investigate and resolve trade breaks, accounting discrepancies, and transaction issues
Support risk mitigation efforts by improving trade flow processes and operational controls
Assist with projects focused on cross‑product support and operational efficiency
Analyze workflows and data to identify process improvement opportunities
Prepare reports and business analyses for senior leadership as requested
Build effective relationships across teams while supporting ongoing operational initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field preferred)
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
High attention to detail and sound professional judgment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Internship or academic experience in financial services, operations, or trade support
Client‑service mindset with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
Self‑motivated, accountable, and proactive team player
Comfortable working under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality
