The role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrate comfort with ambiguity, and hold a high bar on performance. A proven track record for hiring, developing, and retaining top talent is required.

Key Job Responsibilities

Learn and stay current with technical developments in the field of Automation Technology, including Amazon AI services.

Lead a team of highly talented RPA and automation engineers responsible for managing all aspects of mission‑critical systems.

Partner with business stakeholders and product managers around automation technology/RPA capability communication, articulate technical jargon into business‑digestible language.

Research and drive new and innovative AI/ML approaches.

Enforce a high bar for operational excellence of the team's services.

Recruit high‑performing team members and provide mentorship and coaching.

Establish team mechanisms for project planning, product development, engineering excellence, operational excellence, and team‑building mechanisms.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of program or project management experience

3+ years of working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams

3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics

Bachelor's degree

Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and SQL

Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of driving end‑to‑end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership

3+ years of driving process improvements

Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
