This newly created position offers the scope, influence, and autonomy that experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers look for backed by BPC’s strong pipeline, collaborative culture, and reputation for delivering complex civil works.
About the Role As Commercial Manager, you’ll be the key commercial advisor across a portfolio of complex projects ensuring robust financial management, strong controls, and proactive commercial decision-making.
Lead and oversee commercial delivery across multiple civil infrastructure projects
Build and manage accurate cost forecasts, cashflows, and monthly financial reporting
Develop procurement strategies and negotiate subcontractor agreements
Drive revenue recovery, claims, and variation valuations
Lead commercial risk analysis and contribute to project reviews
Coach and mentor team members to strengthen commercial capability
What You’ll Bring
10+ years’ commercial experience in civil construction
Proven capability as a Commercial Manager or a Senior QS ready to step into a bigger role
Deep expertise in procurement, cost control, risk, and commercial strategy
Strong financial reporting and forecasting skills
Advanced Excel and systems capability (experience with Procore or JDE an advantage)
Confidence to influence, negotiate, challenge, and collaborate across all levels
