Facility Maintenance Manager The purpose of the Facility Maintenance Manager is to schedule, supervise and monitor the work of warehouse maintenance employees and contractors to ensure the proper repair and maintenance of Ben E. Keith equipment and facilities.
Lead, train and manage assigned personnel to ensure the efficient upkeep of BEK facilities.
Implement appropriate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with BEK operational objectives and regulatory guidelines.
Manage maintenance activities and keep organized documentation of all maintenance and repairs performed on BEK equipment and facilities to ensure maintenance guidelines are met and maintained.
Monitor expenditures to minimize costs and effectively manage budgetary guidelines.
Provide performance feedback to personnel.
Job Qualifications
Food industry and/or manufacturing experience preferred
Ammonia refrigeration experience required
Experience with budget management and material/cost estimates
Experience with multiple types of maintenance equipment required
Ability to understand and enforce regulatory guidelines
Knowledge of hazardous materials and environmental regulations
Leadership skills; ability to train and lead personnel
Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and related codes required
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Analytical; detail‑oriented
Ability to multi‑task
Ability to understand complex processes
Relationship management
Strong negotiation/problem‑solving skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent facility management/maintenance experience
