CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Systems Support Administrator position for our client.

Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on a 36/48 split schedule (Typical rotation: three days one week, four days the next)
Job Summary We’re looking for a Senior Systems Support Administrator to support critical systems in a high-availability semiconductor manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on role focused on system uptime, reliability, and fast problem resolution across a complex, multi‑vendor infrastructure. You’ll support manufacturing and FAB applications that operate 24/7, so consistency and attention to detail matter.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support enterprise systems, networks, applications, and distributed environments to ensure maximum uptime
Provide first- and second-level technical support, troubleshooting system and application issues in line with service agreements
Install, rack, and configure hardware and operating systems while following company policies and security standards
Support systems management processes aligned to 300mm fabrication (FAB) client requirements
Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and IT teams to support mission‑critical FAB applications
Monitor system health and respond quickly to incidents to minimize production impact
Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and known issues
Required Qualifications
Experience supporting Linux, Windows, and Unix server environments
Hands‑on experience with system administration in a production or manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, and application layers
Experience working in a multi‑vendor enterprise environment
Comfortable working a fixed day shift on a 12‑hour 36/48 schedule
Nice to Have
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or FAB environments
Familiarity with 300mm manufacturing systems or tools
Background in uptime‑critical or regulated environments
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
