Job Summary We're looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with expertise in API testing to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing API tests for our software applications. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute API tests using tools like Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured, etc.
Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve API-related issues.
Develop and maintain API test automation frameworks.
Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts for API testing.
Execute API tests and report defects to the development team.
Participate in Agile development methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in API testing.
Requirements
9+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on API testing.
Strong knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured, etc.
Experience with API testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, etc.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
