Role Overview Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Rocket Center, WV and will support the Missile Products Business Unit.

Roles and Responsibilities

Define and develop material strategy Assess supply resources; aggregate and prioritize demand requirements; plan inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough‑cut capacity for all products

Participate in make/buy process, long‑term capacity and resource planning; product phase‑in/phase‑out, manufacturing ramp‑up, end‑of‑life management and product‑line management

Analyze and aggregate supply/demand requirements; analyze purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools

Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill‑of‑Materials (BOM) requirements; assess rough‑cut capacity for current and short‑term manufacturing requirements

Create or reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments; plan long‑term capacity and resource scheduling for new and existing product lines

Interface with Source process area regarding inventory levels, working capital and other areas as needed; create/release requisitions; receive/review requirements for non‑standard parts; analyze lead times and identify critical‑path procurements

Basic Qualifications

Be completing or have completed a degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D.) from an accredited institution

Majoring in or having majored in Supply Chain, Finance or a related field

Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre‑requisite)

Preferred Qualifications

Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher

Data analytics skills are a plus

Knowledge in Earned Value Management (EVM)

Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $54,400 – $81,600 (base only). Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, a discretionary bonus, and long‑term incentives depending on level. Northrop Grumman provides health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company‑paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and personal business.
