Summary
Enru Logistics is looking for a Strategic Planning Manager to sit onsite in Bolingbrook, IL. As a Strategic Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the satisfaction of our clients, maintaining an efficient customer and operations operation while balancing the relationships of our carrier partners. You will oversee a team of Transportation planning experts, manage client and transportation relationships, and continuously improve our service standards.
Responsibilities
Lead, train, and motivate a team of representatives to provide exceptional service.
Set performance standards, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage work schedules to meet service demands.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and handle escalated customer concerns.
Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional logistics services.
Continuously evaluate and streamline customer service processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement best practices to optimize customer service operations and ensure on-time delivery and order accuracy.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall logistics service quality.
Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure department performance.
Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.
Provide training and development opportunities for your team to improve their skills and product knowledge.
Keep the team updated on industry trends and best practices.
Facilitate communication between the customer operations team and other departments to ensure a seamless logistics process.
Prepare reports and presentations for management, clients, and carrier partners.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in an operations management role within the logistics industry.
5+ years of experience in the supply chain, logistics, package/freight industry
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience with Transportation planning systems.
Experience with WMS or Company ERP systems is a plus.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of logistics operations, industry regulations, and market trends.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Proficiency in PBI/Data Warehouse tools.
IL Comp Info Pay range: $80,000 to $95,000.
