Responsibilities
Answer phones, chat, social media, or email in a polite, courteous, and professional manner.
Maintain and improve daily customer relationships.
Ask probing questions to identify customer issues or concerns.
Ensure accurate account maintenance and update account information.
Use next‑call avoidance techniques to reduce future inquiries.
Schedule delivery orders and handle basic negotiation for new and returning customers.
Process general service order input, execute emergency scripts, close uncontrollable loss accounts, provide general contract and pricing information.
De‑escalate customer situations following the complaint‑resolution policy.
Send statements and invoices to customers and perform soft collections for credit‑hold or past‑due accounts, including phone check collections.
Support the set‑up of new customer accounts.
Meet or exceed minimum performance standards outlined in company policy.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1+ year of customer service experience.
Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational skills with typing and data‑entry experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team building and positive rapport.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).
Must be a citizen or national of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
