Role Description The Business Development & Marketing Specialist plays a key role in driving Legat Architects’ strategic growth by actively supporting business development initiatives, strengthening client and partner relationships, identifying and tracking new opportunities, and helping teams shape winning pursuit strategies. This hybrid role blends front-end business development efforts—including relationship building, market research, opportunity tracking, and client engagement—with hands-on marketing execution, such as proposal development, messaging, and visual storytelling. The position contributes to both firmwide and regional growth goals by coordinating pursuits, supporting capture planning, and ensuring clear, compelling, and consistent communication.
Qualifications
5–8 years of business development and/or marketing experience in the A/E/C (or related) industry
Demonstrated interest and strength in business development, relationship building, and client engagement
Strong writing and communication skills
Experience supporting proposals, pursuits, and interview preparation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and CRM platforms
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities with strong follow-through
