Reporting to the Market Leader are Area Directors, who oversee multiple units. Reporting to the Area Directors are the General Managers, who are the chief café managers responsible for the overall running of their cafés. Assistant Managers help run departments and support day‑to‑day management. Team Managers round out the café leadership. We strive to hire only the best, starting with our leadership. Our leaders within Flynn Panera have over 190+ years of experience in the restaurant industry, and 60+ years with Flynn Group. Flynn Group was founded in 1999 by Greg Flynn and now operates a diversified portfolio of restaurants in iconic brands such as Applebee’s, Arby’s, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy’s and Planet Fitness. Our Panera Bread cafés are upscale, friendly cafés featuring baked breads and pastries. We serve made‑to‑order soups, salads and sandwiches as well as specialty espresso beverages. No fryers and no late nights – we’re known for artisan bread, quality soups, salads and sandwiches in a grease‑free, alcohol‑free environment. Managers supervise up to 75 staff members to ensure a top‑quality service experience for guests. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Serve as a role‑model and lead the team. Ensure team members provide great customer service. Taking ownership for the business performance of the restaurant. Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by following all safety and sanitation standards and procedures. Run quality opening, mid and closing shifts ensuring a consistent positive customer experience. Coordinate the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts. Greeting customers and doing table visits to ensure customer satisfaction. Recruit, train and motivate staff. Assist the specialist within the bakery‑café, ensuring team members are properly trained and fully competent in all aspects of food service and customer support. Ensure objectives are achieved while operating within all company guidelines, cultural values and following ethical business practices. Provide outstanding leadership to your team. Be passionate about the industry, inspiring others, coaching, counseling, creating a profitable environment and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Maintain high standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and safety, and facility management. Work with experienced restaurant professionals who have a steady, stable employment track record, attention to detail, and outstanding social skills. Education and Experience

At least 1–2 years of hospitality experience. Food Management Certifications are a plus. Must have the \"Run it Like you Own It\" mentality. Excellent organization, customer service and time‑management skills. Proven track record for leadership. Passion, energy and a positive attitude. Work well under pressure and be able to work with a diverse group of people. Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Reference checks will be conducted. Perks for Our Employees

Must be able to stand and exert well‑paced mobility for up to ten (10) hours in length. Must be able to safely lift pots, pans, glassware, boxes, etc. up to 50 pounds in weight. Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication. Must possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
