Shift Details Hiring for all shifts. Mon‑Fri; every other weekend required. Availability for weekends, evenings and flexible hours is required.
Responsibilities
Participate in the development and updates of Personalized Service Plans; attend service plan review meetings with families as requested.
Follow the hydration schedule established for residents and ensure it is maintained during the shift.
Complete resident meal attendance sheets and ensure any resident who has not dined in the dining room has been provided room service and/or accounted for.
Know and comply with all resident rights.
Initiate, assign, and assist with activities, as appropriate.
Check all assigned residents daily for cleanliness, appropriate clothing, continence issues, and changes in condition.
Use proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
Check assigned resident rooms daily for general cleanliness and neatness; take appropriate action. Ensure high‑risk rooms are double‑checked.
Assist with conducting laundry room and common area checks for cleanliness and exposed hazardous chemicals; take appropriate action (contacting housekeeping, personally cleaning the room, securing chemicals).
Complete all ADLs for assigned residents according to the resident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP).
Respond to the security system and resident call bells promptly and immediately; take appropriate action including resetting call bells.
Qualifications
High School education preferred and may be required by the state.
Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age to perform the personal care aspects of the RCA position.
Knowledge and experience in the Assisted Living industry and dementia care or skilled nursing preferred.
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flex hours; available to customers at peak service delivery days and times.
