Job Description The role described primarily covers a Project Coordinator position at Lithko Contracting, LLC, responsible for developing detailed project estimates, managing project administration, and ensuring accurate project information distribution. The corporation builds concrete for large‑scale projects across various industries and has over 5,000 employees nationwide.
Who We Are Lithko Contracting applies expertise to industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, educational, chip plant, and data center projects. Annually, we place over 100 million square feet of concrete and generate more than $1.7 billion in revenue.
The Role Lithko seeks a Project Coordinator to develop accurate estimates and manage administrative components for entire projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a detailed and accurate estimate for potential projects.
Identify and quantify necessary concrete scope items, collaborating on project strategy.
Generate customer proposals and preliminary schedules.
Set up the job, including initial contract review, cost codes, and preliminary budget.
Provide timely project information to all parties.
Compile daily job cost reports to align cost and quantity with the budget.
Create change orders and execute thorough project closeouts.
Communicate project information and opportunities to the team as needed.
Organize log setup for all MPOs and PO’s to track logged items and submittals.
Collaborate with the Project Lead and operational support to develop accurate project plans.
Requirements and Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
5+ years of experience in project management and estimating for large‑scale self‑perform GC or concrete contractors.
Self‑perform concrete experience required.
Experience with commercial/industrial concrete projects valued over $1 million.
Ability to perform estimates, submit bids, and generate proposals.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
