The Thermal Core Competency Team Leader will drive innovation and execution in thermal solutions for advanced computing platforms. This role is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team focused on thermal architecture, design, and validation of thermal elements across multiple product lines. The leader will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical design, electrical engineering, reliability, and manufacturing to ensure thermal performance meets or exceeds product thermal requirements. Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the thermal technology roadmap for core components, aligning with corporate objectives and future product needs. Technical Expertise: Oversee thermal modeling, simulation, and experimental validation for products utilizing advanced packaging Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with architecture, packaging, and system teams to integrate thermal solutions early in the design cycle. Innovation and Research: Drive exploration of emerging thermal technologies and materials to improve performance, cost, and predictability. Program Management: Ensure timely delivery of thermal designs for multiple programs, balancing technical risk, cost, and schedule. Team Development: Mentor and grow a high-performing team of thermal engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration. Stakeholder Communication: Present thermal strategies, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership and program stakeholders. Required Skills

Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering complex thermal solutions. Expertise in CFD tools (e.g., FloTHERM, Icepak), thermal measurement techniques, and reliability analysis. Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and cost optimization for thermal components. Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to influence across organizational boundaries. Preferred Skills

Experience with liquid cooling systems and advanced thermal interface materials. Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing and supply chain considerations for thermal components. Knowledge of sustainability practices in thermal design. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Sciences, or related field; Ph.D. preferred. 10+ years of experience in thermal design and analysis for electronics or semiconductor products. Work Model and Location
