Join HID Global’s Identification Technologies (IDT) Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit as our RFID Sales Manager and take charge of driving revenue and market growth across the NAM region. In this high-impact role, you’ll spearhead the expansion of our RFID business within the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical markets, helping shape the future of healthcare technology.
We’re looking for a proven sales leader with deep expertise in selling directly to OEM medical device and pharmaceutical companies. Your understanding of the full channel-to-market—whether direct to OEMs, through system integrators, or via distributors—will be key to unlocking new opportunities and accelerating adoption of our cutting-edge RFID solutions.
You’ll work closely with ISC Sales Leadership and Sales Support Teams, giving you the backing of a global leader in secure identity solutions while maintaining the autonomy to drive results. Responsibilities
Acquiring new customers and developing the existing customer base in the NAM region for OEM Medical Device, Pharmaceutical and Biotec companies.
Recognizing and understanding customer requirements during the pre-sales process and aligning them with our product portfolio.
Driving the entire sales process, from first contact and offer preparation to contract closure, utilizing product management and engineering specialists as required.
Planning and implementing marketing and sales campaigns with sales and marketing management to drive brand recognition and business growth.
Attending conferences, exhibitions, and partner events.
Finding and maintaining key contacts with potential customers.
Providing on-time and up-to-date forecasts and revenue attainment on a regular basis.
Building a project pipeline to secure ISC long-term business growth.
Identifying future market trends and acting upon them in coordination with product management.
Qualifications
Understanding of RFID technologies with a focus on RFID Tags and Labels is helpful but not required.
Several years of sales experience and comfort talking with all levels of the company.
Passionate about sales and a proactive seller.
Comfortable and self-motivated to work remotely.
Strong experience in prospecting, contacting, and closing new customers, including cold calling and social media outreach.
5+ years of experience selling to OEMs, R&D engineers, project/product managers, procurement/supply chain managers, and/or into the medical device/pharmaceutical industry.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Responsive to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members.
Ability to develop presentations and write content as an industry subject matter expert.
Ability to present information to boards of directors, technical managers, and/or public groups.
Professional communication with Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing, and other HID teams.
Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, and international technical standards.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required.

The wage range for this role reflects a broad scope of factors including skill sets, experience, and organizational needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for geographic differentials. At HID, compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
The base salary in the United States is $97,932 to $138,569. The OTE is up to $230,948.
