We're seeking individuals with at least 1-2 years of dental assisting experience with expanded functions. Coronal Polishing and Caries Prevention is a plus!
Responsibilities
Assisting the dentist using 4-handed dentistry
Taking & developing dental radiographs
Assisting in a hospital setting with patients under General Anesthesia
Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; and answering patients' questions
Place composite restorations
Ensures accurate patient records (treatment planning, medical history)
Takes dental impressions & pour models
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; and reporting needed changes
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Prepares treatment rooms including decontamination, sterilization, cleaning handpieces and room, and restocking supplies
Qualifications
Dental: 1 year (REQUIRED)
Radiology License (REQUIRED)
Expanded Functions (REQUIRED)
Coronal Polishing (Preferred)
Nitrous Certification (Preferred)
