A fast‑growing aerospace manufacturer is looking for a Senior Environmental Specialist to join its team near Signal Hill, CA. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all environmental compliance programs at the facility.
The Role
Organize, implement, and audit all environmental programs and strategies at the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Prepare and coordinate all environmental permits, reports, and related requirements for the facility, including waste, wastewater, and stormwater.
Complete environmental site inspections and audits, providing recommendations and ensuring follow‑up on corrective actions.
Keep informed of existing and upcoming environmental regulations that may affect operational facilities.
Act as the point of contact and subject matter expert for both regulatory agencies and operational teams.
The Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or a relevant major.
5+ years of environmental experience in heavy manufacturing or similar industries.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, particularly with SCAQMD.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
