Key Responsibilities
Manage all tax-related matters for PUMA Group's central functions, both in Germany and internationally
Provide expert advice on tax planning, compliance, and risk management
Collaborate with various departments to ensure tax strategies align with business objectives
Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with local and international tax laws
Prepare and review tax returns, reports, and documentation including requirements under Global Minimum Tax regulations (Pillar 2)
Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements related to central and group functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Liaise with tax authorities and external advisors as needed
Mentor and develop junior tax team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications Professional experience of at least 3-5 years in a similar role or in a international advisory firm
Preferably passed the German tax advisor exam
Strong knowledge of German and international tax laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in English and German.
