Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare detailed variance reports. Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead. Manage inventory valuation, reconciliation, and obsolescence for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Prepare and distribute regular cost reports, including product profitability analysis. Support budgeting and forecasting processes related to production costs and capital expenditures. Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements within manufacturing operations. Participate in month-end close activities, including COGS calculation and inventory adjustments. Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, standard costing, and variance analysis. Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for cost control and process improvement. Bonus Qualifications
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis Experience with advanced ERP module configuration or reporting (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle EBS) Job Titles That Should Apply
