This is a hybrid role, requiring at least 3 days in person. Your hours will be discussed once you complete training and onboarding satisfactorily. We provide a flexible work schedule, but we expect our therapists to proactively balance client needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Given the high demand for sessions between 3PM–9PM, success in this role requires availability during these peak hours.

Our therapists are highly compensated (base hourly pay, commission splits, performance bonuses and more). They also have the flexibility to manage their own caseload at a comfortable level, focus their efforts on specialties and work in a warm, inviting office.
Desired experience and qualifications:
Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
Candidates must be fully licensed mental health professionals with a valid state of New Jersey license
Experience with children, adolescents, teens, and/or adults
Experience with couples, families, trauma, substance abuse, and/or schools
A general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
Responsibilities include:
Evaluate and diagnose behavioral health issues, create and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including additional diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session within 24 hours
Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings
