Full-time Plumbing Project Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plumbing Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, piping, and plumbing, with 3 to 10 years of relevant work experience. As a Plumbing Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality results, timely delivery, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and requirements
Create and maintain project schedules using project management software
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Team Management:
Lead and supervise a team of plumbers, technicians, and subcontractors
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and project requirements
Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members as needed
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions
Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback
Technical Expertise:
Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients and team members
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in plumbing and project management
Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and develop effective solutions
Quality Control:
Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications
Identify and address any deficiencies or issues promptly
Coordinate with inspectors and regulatory bodies for necessary approvals and certifications
Resource Management:
Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting
Procure materials, equipment, and tools required for projects
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions
Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
Client Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
Communicate project progress, challenges, and updates to clients regularly
