Description Position Summary The care team Operator/Scheduler, responsible for handling incoming calls and scheduling appointments, is the first member of the care team to interact with patients. Dispatchers function as switchboard operators in directing calls to the appropriate department or care team operator.
Responsibilities
Handle incoming calls and scheduling appointments as the first point of contact with patients.
Direct calls to appropriate department or care team operator.
Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish
Requires some computer skills (Windows based) and telephone experience preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office a plus.
Demonstrates abilities for working in a multi-cultural setting.
Ability to strongly embrace and personify the mission of Lawndale Christian Health Center.
Ability to collaborate and interact with a diverse group of health care professionals.
Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced work environment.
Excellent guest relations skills.
Typing speed of 45 wpm
Required Knowledge, Experience, Or Licensure/Registration
High School Diploma or equivalent
