Job Summary The Calibration Technician will ensure accurate calibrations for various process and/or analytical instruments used to manufacture pharmaceutical products.
Instruments Chromatography Systems (HPLC, GC, LC‑MS, GC‑MS), Spectroscopy Systems (UV‑Vis, FTIR, ICP‑OES), Biological/Environmental Testing Equipment (Autoclaves, Incubators), and related.
Job Duties
Perform calibrations on analytical instruments used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and testing.
Identify measurement errors and calculate uncertainties.
Perform general repairs on equipment, as needed.
Communicate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
Assist with measurement and traceability questions.
Qualifications
At least 2+ years of Metrology and/or Calibration experience with analytical instruments is needed, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of measurement practices and quality systems (e.g. ISO 17025).
Analytical skills for interpreting schematics and calibration/repair procedures.
Excellent communication and team skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
