Whether you work at our headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove (BGTC) in Asheville, North Carolina, Blue Ridge Broadcasting (BRB) in Asheville, North Carolina or a field office abroad, you are part of a team of committed Christians working together to reach people to the ends of the earth with the Gospel.

Department Detail – The Internet Evangelism department takes the Gospel to the world through SearchforJesus.net, a ministry built on digital tools and online strategies. Through websites like PeaceWithGod.net and various social media platforms, the Good News goes out in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, and American Sign Language. Online visitors to these pages engage with trained volunteers through chat, private messaging, texts, and emails to get their spiritual questions answered. Those who respond to the Gospel invitation are mentored by discipleship volunteers as they go through online Bible study courses and are referred to local churches in their area.
Job Summary – This position supports the ministry services tools and processes of Internet Evangelism, as well as some of the reporting and project management needs of the department.
Ministry Requirements
Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer
Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits
Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations
Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Learn and maintain an in-depth understanding of Internet Evangelism's technology tools for applicant tracking, volunteer management, event registration, scheduling, resources, and volunteer engagement and communication.
Track and prioritize feature requests and bugs for the Internet Evangelism’s ministry volunteer management platform known as ServeWell.
Provide day-to-day customer success support for ServeWell. Understand user needs and identify opportunities to improve their experience and efficiency.
Troubleshoot technical issues, test new features and bug fixes, and configure the ServeWell platform for Internet Evangelism’s specific needs.
Monitor platform usage to ensure accuracy, consistency, and best-practice adoption.
Create procedures and training materials, including videos, for use in training Internet Evangelism’s staff and volunteers. These materials also need to be transferable for other BGEA ministries using ServeWell.
Coordinate Internet Evangelism’s use of the tool known as Cvent. This includes working with the communications department on webpages and building out the events for the language managers.
Assist with other ministry tools as needed.
Marginal Duties and Responsibilities
Fulfills other duties as assigned by Ministry Services Manager and Assistant Director of Operations.
Job Specifications Skills and Knowledge
College level degree preferred or relevant experience performing required skills and duties
Proficiency with a computer, web based applications, and Microsoft Office tools
Knowledge of and experience with cross-cultural ministry preferred
Knowledge of and experience with volunteer management/operations, preferably in a Christian ministry environment
Excellent interpersonal communications skills
Excellent project management skills
Experience writing procedures and producing training tutorials/videos
Ability to learn new systems quickly and translate technical concepts into user-friendly language
Ability to write clearly and concisely
Ability to lead, to work as a team member and player, and to give and take direction
Ability to work with initiative and with minimal supervision
Ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to plan and make decisions, concentrating on details and being thorough and accurate
Ability to be flexible with shifting priorities
Ability to work cooperatively with people in other departments and organizations, with sensitivity to those of other cultures and races
Physical/Mental Demands
Ability to meet deadlines, work extended hours if necessary, and work under pressure
Working Conditions
Work is typically performed in a conventional office environment
Occasional travel may be required
Work is usually performed Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Occasionally work will be performed outside these hours.
